Character is the synthesis of Jil Sander's Fall/Winter 2024 collection shot by David Sims, one of fashion’s greatest photographers. The British artist-photographer captured the essence of an elevated wardrobe that invites the wearer to a personal experience and gives shape to individual emotions and desires.
The images, in colour or black & white, are portraits of individuals where light and posture accentuate attitudes. The diversity and exceptional quality of the materials are always at the center and interpreted by real characters selected during a street casting in London. There is a warmth, expressed in the images, that conveys a certain smoothness, comfort, and intimacy.
