Established over 200 years ago, the ‘Nanjo Kobo’ has specialised in crafting temple bells and gongs. Inspired by the craftsmanship of ‘LinNe-Chibi’ and JIL SANDER’s ‘Tangle’ bag, this temple bell charm combines braided cord with traditional metalwork. It is entirely handcrafted using the unique special alloy ‘Sahari’ and traditional casting techniques. The braided cord is made from pure silk. The knots—the Aioi knot, the Niju-kane knot and the Odamaki-tama knot—each embody the wish for good fortune and the fulfilment of one’s aspirations
